COLDBROOK – An experienced business operator and community volunteer is running in Kings South for the Nova Scotia PC Party in the next provincial general election.
Julie Vanexan was recently nominated as the Progressive Conservative candidate in the constituency.
“The people of Kings South deserve a strong, effective, and experienced voice to make things happen for our constituency,” said Vanexan. “I'm impressed with what Premier Tim Houston and his PC Team have accomplished. I'm running for MLA to be your voice at the decision-making table."
A resident of Coldbrook with her husband and two sons, Vanexan volunteers with a range of community causes in Kings South and the Valley. In the business world, she has two decades of experience in operations, communications and recruitment, successfully leading business expansion efforts and recruitment initiatives across Canada.
“Julie Vanexan’s hard work, business know-how, and commitment to service and family will make her a great MLA as part of my team in government,” said Premier Tim Houston. “As Premier, I’m focused on building up Nova Scotia, in Kings South and across the province. Julie will be a great addition to our team to deliver results for the people of Kings South.”
Premier Tim Houston’s PC Team has delivered record investments in health care, housing and infrastructure. The Houston PCs are also providing tax relief, while at the same time fighting against the Liberal carbon tax.
